Somos uma banda de blues brasileira que sobrevive ha décadas baseada em sua firmeza de propósitos e persistência. Somos remanescentes de uma época em que pouco se falava de blues por aquí. Na década de 70 o Thomazini já tinha se associado ao U.S.A Center em Copacabana, na Praça Cardeal Arcoverde, onde podia conseguir álbuns de blues americanos antigos e autênticos em gravações feitas, muitas vezes, pela Biblioteca do Congresso Americano á título de registro histórico, com bluesmen americanos que de outra forma teriam caído no esquecimento pela absoluta falta de registro de seus trabalhos de então. Assim começou aquilo se transformou em uma verdadeira saga; "a saga do BODHISATTVA BLUES BAND!". Oh! Yeah!!!
We are a Brazilian blues band that survives for decades based on his firmness of purpose and persistence. We are remnants of a time when little was said about the blues around here. In the 70s the Thomazini had an association with USA Center in Copacabana, in the Praça Cardeal Arcoverde, which could get old American blues albums and recordings made in authentic, often by the Library of Congress as a historical record, with American bluesmen who otherwise would have been forgotten by the utter lack of record of their work then. Thus began what turned into a real saga, "the saga of the Bodhisattva BLUES BAND". Oh! Yeah!

A intenção inicial do Bodhisattva Blues Band foi a de expressão espontânea de sentimentos, no caso, de jovens que faziam uma revolução nunca antes empreendida pelo ser humano na história do planeta! Muita coisa né? Mas era isso! Era o apogeu da revolução de costumes, um basta às mentiras e hipocrisias do sistema! Mas, parece que este impacto inicial foi bem assimilado pelo sistema e o que se vê hoje é uma "macaqueação" daquilo que outrora fora "a última esperança da Terra...!". Mas, isso é bom! Porque significa que os motivos e razões para a luta continuar estão aí e "A Luta Continua!". Oh! Yeah!!!
The original intention of the Bodhisattva Blues Band was the spontaneous expression of feelings, in the case of young people who made a revolution never before undertaken by human beings in the history of the planet! A lot right? But that was it! It was the heyday of the revolution of manners, one just to the lies and hypocrisies of the system!
